Almost two thirds – 64% – of eight to 16-year-olds said they would be relieved and not bothered if winning or losing were not a factor in sports.
And, only 22% of parents admitted they would have less interest in watching school sports if it was not competitive.
That’s a shockingly low number because 100% of parents know that watching sports without a scoreboard is like watching the clouds drift through the sky. (BBC)
