Stomping in the stream is required and lead by John Boileigh from the Ohio Dept of Natural Resources. Expect to have fun, to interact, and to learn, as a child and a parent! This is a Child and Dog Friendly activity! Meet at the playground, wear proper foot gear and if you want, wet water gear, weather appropriate. Following this water hike – they will end and meet at the 2nd shelterhouse. If time remains, John will give a short interactive touch/feel presentation about pelts. At NOON the dogs will arrive from the Jefferson County Humane Society. They will have the chance to walk/exercise a dog! OR you can bring your own friendly leashed dog to take on a short hike.
