I hope everyone had a great weekend, and all the dads enjoyed their Father's Day. My first Father's Day wasn't too bad, but it got off to a rough start. My son was sick heading into the weekend, but started feeling better by Sunday. His appetite wasn't fully affected, but it was back to full strength by then, and it showed during breakfast.
Breakfast will be a lot more fun now, since some new pancake mixes and a batter dispenser were part of my gifts, to go with some golf attire, a Kenny Pickett jersey, and some of my favorite sweets (hello Reese's overload)! I capped off the weekend with some fishing with my dad in Wellsburg yesterday. We didn't have much luck before it got a little toasty outside, but I did get the smallmouth below.
Not the biggest ever, but it did look pretty. Now it's back to the grind, but there's a good bit to look forward to on the show today, including your last two chances to win American Made Country Music Fest tickets during the 3pm hour! Talk to you at 3!
