Miranda Lambert shared her reaction to the âincredibleâ musicians joining her on stage at a new venue in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lambert is the first artist ever to headline a show at The Truth, a 4,400-capacity venue in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville. The powerhouse singer-songwriter will feature a 12-piece string section as she delivers renditions of career-spanning hits and new tracks from her country-disco record, Crisco, which arrives on Friday (October 2).Â
âItâs sick!â Lambert exclaimed as she shared her reaction to the string section on TikTok. âItâs incredible. âŠâTequila Doesâ with strings? Come on!â
âIt was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record, and I canât wait to bring that to life in an even bigger way with our full setlist,â Lambert said in a statement when she announced the sold-out concert. âWeâve never gotten to play that way on stage, and to have the opportunity to do it for the first time at the opening of a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville is going to be really special.â
So far, Lambert has released the title track, âTwo Things Can Be True,â âTill The Goingâs Gone,â âA Song To Singâ with Chris Stapleton, and âSunset Marquisâ from Crisco. She recently confirmed the opening track, âSnakeskin Boots,â is a duet with reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Country Artist Ella Langley.

Crisco is âa vibrant and joyful collection inspired in part by the long-overlooked connection between country musicâs dance hall tradition and the energy of disco,â according to a previous press release. Lambert said in a statement, âI've always loved every corner of country music. The heartbreak songs, the honky-tonk songs, the songs that make you think and the songs that make you dance.
âMaking this record reminded me that those things donât have to be separated,â she said. âWe followed the songs wherever they wanted to go, trusted our instincts and ended up with something that feels really fun and really honest to who I am.â
