A man was jailed in Stafford County, Virginia on Sunday after what police described as an "unprovoked attack" on an inflatable Santa Claus decoration. Sherriff deputies report around 2 a.m., being called to Stafford Lakes Village for a report of vandalism on inflatable yard decorations. The deputy quickly found the suspect, a 39-year-old Stafford resident who was said to be wearing a red jersey, underwear and only one shoe. The sheriff's office said video evidence showed the suspect was responsible for the ambush of the inflatable Santa and tackling Saint Nicholas to the ground. The suspect was arrested for public intoxication and was also charged with trespassing with the intent to damage. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober, authorities said. No need for him to wait til next Christmas to find out which of Santa's Lists he's on. I've got that answer already. -MJ
